Hola! Happy Hacking to all hackers, DIY, creators and tinkers out there.
So this is a post I have been wanting to write for a while now. Those of you that have been following me for some time know that I have been vocal about the state of hacking education. You know the deal - tons of "academies" and bootcamps promising kids they will become hackers in 3 months, skipping all the fundamentals, networking, systems, programming... and then people wonder why so many "junior pentesters" can't explain what a TCP handshake is. It has been frustrating me for years.
Well, instead of just complaining about it, I decided to do something about it. Two projects I have been building in my free time are almost ready to drop:
learn2hack.today - Mentoring and Private Teaching
This is a mentoring and private teaching platform for people who are serious about learning offensive security and hacking. Not a course factory, not a bootcamp. Think of it as having a private tutor while you go through school, college, OSCP, or any other serious security study path.
The idea is simple - I work with you one on one (or in small groups), we go at your pace, we fill the gaps that courses and academies always leave behind, and we make sure you actually understand what you are doing and why. Real skills, real knowledge, real hacker mindset. No "here is a cheat sheet and good luck".
This is something I have always done informally inside the community. Now I am formalizing it so I can give it the structure and time it deserves. Yes I will charge for the dedicated time - because when people invest even a little they actually show up and do the work, and that is what matters to me.

A New CTF Platform - Beta Coming Soon
The second project is something I am really excited about. I have been building a full CTF (Capture The Flag) platform from the ground up - backend, infrastructure and frontend. The goal is a platform focused on learning and community, not just climbing leaderboards.
It is not open to the public yet but it is getting very close. Before the public launch I will be looking for beta testers to help find bugs, break things (yes, that is literally the job), and give feedback on the experience. If you want to be a beta tester keep an eye on this blog and my usual channels - I will post when it is ready.
Both projects are planned for this summer 2026. It has been a lot of work on top of a full time job and all the other side projects, but I am really happy with where things are heading. More updates soon!

Gaming - Eve Online, DarkFall and Eve Frontier
On the gaming side I have been playing Eve Online and DarkFall Rise of Agon for a while now - if you know me you know I have always had a soft spot for sandbox games that reward thinking and planning over reflexes.
The new one I am excited about is Eve Frontier, currently in alpha. It is a dark, brutal, more hardcore take in the Eve universe and I am already building things for it - specifically a BBS system that can be accessed both in-game and outside via the Stoat.chat platform. Also worth mentioning - I have started using Codeberg for some projects alongside my usual sr.ht SourceHut. Both are great libre forges, check them out if you are not already on them.
